I own a construction company and an estate agency in Liverpool so I get lots of people each week asking me questions about all kinds of different things.
I have decided to do a blog every week on a Monday to try and help answer the most frequent questions. These will be my views and opinions and people may disagree which is fine, I would be happy to discuss everyone’s opinions and help anyone reading to learn not just from myself.
This week I have been asked a few times about shared accomodation in Liverpool but not aimed at students.
Do I think this can still work? Yes definitely, there is a lot of competition and I think the properties with more bathrooms balanced to the number of bedrooms will fill more easily and at a better rate. There is of course the need for cheaper rooms but just be aware of what tenant type you want when choosing area and quality of finish.
I think a lot of areas can work for this strategy but personally I would avoid the more student associated areas such as L7 and L15 as the prices are high and there is of course article 4 being brought into a lot more areas of the city
